Permission to update the report definition has not been granted to you when trying to update Shared Report Definitions

When I try to update a Shared Report Definition I'm getting an error - 

Permission to update this report definition has not been granted to you. Check with (username) to gain permission to update.

• Payroll

• State Reporting 

• Shared Report Definitions

The user who created the Shared Report definition did not give others permission to make changes to it

Two options:

• The user who created the Shared Report Definition can give others permission to Maintain

1. 1. Click Share the currently selected report definition with other users icon to the right of the Shared Report Definitions box

   2. Select Update

   3. Select Publicly Maintainble

   4. Click Accept

   5. Click Back to return to the Generate screen

• Create a Copy of the Shared Report Definition

1. 1. Click Copy the currently selected report definition icon to the right of the Shared Report Definitions box

   2. Enter a Report Definition name for the new Shared Report Definition 

   3. Make the changes you need to make to the previous parameters

   4. Select Accept
