Monthly option is missing from Recurring Journal Entry



Description of Issue

We cannot find the Monthly option in the Recurring Journal Entry/Generate program. 



Context

  • Munis Versions 2018+



Cause

Site upgraded from version 11 to a Munis version 2018+.  Monthly option has been removed from the Journal Entry/Generate program in newer versions of Munis, as it was deemed unnecessary. 



Resolution

Use the Lines option as it will allow the user to update line descriptions, amounts, as well as debit/credit for the journal lines, like the Monthly option provided in version 11 of Munis. 

Munis > Financials > General Ledger Menu > Journal Entry/History > Recurring Journal Entry/Generate

  • Search or Add journal

  • Click the Lines option
