MO ICESA missing employees with two Employee Numbers when one is subject to Unemployment and the other is not



Description of Issue

MO ICESA Quarterly Contribution & Wage Report is missing employees with two employee numbers - one with Unemployment Tax checked and the other without.

Cause

When there are multiple emp numbers, the program uses the Employee Master with the lowest Employee Number, which did not have the Unemployment Tax flagged.



Resolution

Select the Unemployment Tax option on both Employee Master records and then define the Generate to exclude the lowest employee number. 

  1. Select Employee Master >Demographic Tab and be sure the Unemployment tax box is selected for both employee numbers

  2. Update the Employee Master Filter tab on the MO ICESA Quarterly Contribution and Wage generate screen

    1. Select Employee Number in the Type field

    2. Enter the lowest employee number

    3. Click Exclude

  3. Select Accept

  4. Generate
