How to mass update cycles in Employee Deductions





Description of Issue

Deductions are not pulling into cycle four payroll, need to update cycles in employee deductions



Context

Cause

Payroll cycle was not selected in Employee Deductions for the active payroll warrant cycle



Resolution
  1. Access Employee Deductions (Payroll > Employee Maintenance > Employee Deductions)

  2. Search for the deduction number that needs to be updated

    1. Can search on Active Status as well

  3. Click Mass Update

  4. Click Define

  5. Select Deduction Cycles for the Change option

  6. Check and/or Uncheck the deduction cycle boxes needed

    1. For instance, if need to take the deduction for cycles 1-3 only, check cycle boxes 1, 2 and 3.  Leave cycle boxes 4 and 5 unchecked.

  7. Click Accept > Execute

  8. Select Yes to the prompt:  Mass Update will set the Cycle flags for all deductions in the find set to the defined values. Do you want to continue the update?
