Non-yearly accumulators exist for this emp/year/code.

I am receiving the following error when attempting to import FICA and Medicate deduction amounts in the yearly accumulators. Non-yearly accumulators exist for this emp/year/code.

Employees had monthly, quarterly, inception, fiscal and yearly accumulators existing for FICA and Medicare under codes 1000 and 1100.

Create a new FICA deduction between 1000-1010 and a new Medicare deduction between 1100-1110 and import under the new FICA and Medicare deduction codes.

1. Access Deduction and Benefit Master: Payroll > Payroll Setup > Deduction and Benefit Master
2. Search for the deduction code
3. Click Duplicate in the ribbon
4. Enter a deduction code number in range of 1000-1010 that is currently not being used
5. Click OK > Click Yes
6. Repeat steps 2-5 for the Medicare deduction using a code within the range of 1100-1110
7. Import yearly accumulators again with the new deduction codes

Munis will not allow you to import yearly accumulators if the accumulator for that code already exists at the monthly, quarterly, inception, fiscal, or yearly level. Importing under the new deductions between ranges 1000-1010 and 1100-1110 as a yearly accumulator will be sufficient. When generating W-2s, Munis is hard-coded to lump all deductions as FICA when pulling yearly accumulators for deductions in the range of 1000-1010, along with Medicare for codes 1100-1110.
