TX TRS Maintenance - Actual Months

Description of Issue

What is the Actual Months field on the TX TRS Maintenance screen used for, and how does it impact the Stat Min calculation?

Cause

Resolution

The Actual Months field exists to assist in creating the correct Find set in TX TRS Maintenance prior to processing the Refresh Contract.

Stat Min Contract Months are always equal to the number of months paid, and not the number of months worked.  The Actual Months field allows you to record the number of months worked so you can subsequently Search for employees that actually have a 12 month contract, in order, for example, to process the Refresh Contract on just 12 month emps who have a Contract start of 07/01.

Actual Months is not used in the Stat Min calculation in Munis.

Additional Information

Please refer to the TX TRS Maintenance document on the Munis KnowledgeBase for additional detail.
