How to reprint Payroll Advices

Description of Issue

I need to reprint vendor advices that physically print, the rest are mostly emailed to employees.

There was a printer issue and I need to reprint all the advices for a payroll.

Context
  • Payroll
  • Payroll Start and Status
  • Print Payroll Advices
Cause

Printer was not responding when the physically printed advices tried to print.

Resolution

If unsure what the original starting advice number is for the payroll:

  1. When in Payroll Start and Status (Munis Menu>Human Resources/Payroll>Payroll>Payroll Processing>Payroll Start and Status)
    1. Click Search. Define warrant number. Click Accept. Click Change in Menu.
  2. Click Advice Register and Export.
  3. Click Register in the toolbar. Click PDF or Display to view the advices numbers. Click Return.

To reprint the advices:

  1. Go to Print Payroll Advices. (Munis Menu>Human Resources/Payroll>Payroll>Payroll Processing>Payroll Start and Status)
    1. Click Print Payroll Advices. Confirm active warrant prompt. Click Yes.
  2. Payroll Advices Already Printed Prompt will display. Click Yes.
  3. Click Reprint. Update Starting Check Number field to original starting advice number for the range to be reprinted.
  4. Update the Starting Old Check Number to the starting Advice number and verify the Ending Old Check Number is the correct ending check number in the range to be reprinted. Click Accept.
  5. Click the radio button next to Print then click the Ellipses box (...). Click on selected Printer. Click Accept
    1. If using ReadyForms, click the radio button next to ReadyForms, then select the applicable Delivery Definition.
  6. Click OK

** Note - If another payroll was printed after the reprinted payroll, the Starting Check Number will need to be adjusted to the correct next starting check number the next time the Print Payroll Advices is run or adjusted in Payroll Control Settings**

The same process would be used if reprinting Payroll Checks - Reprinting Payroll Employee Checks
