How to create a W-2c



Description of Issue

Mistakes were reported on an employee's W-2 after the Electronic File was submitted, how do I create the W-2c record?

Cause
  • Munis
  • W-2 Processing
  • W-2c Processing 
Resolution
  1. Human Resources/Payroll > Payroll > W-2 Processing > W-2c Processing > Create W-2c Records
  2. Click Define, enter the W-2c Year 
  3. Click Define, this screen must be defined identically to the Create W-2 and 1099-R Records screen. Please review for comparison: Human Resources/Payroll > Payroll > W-2 Processing > Create W-2 and 1099-R Records
  4. If applicable, enable the setting for Generate for Single Employee Only and enter the Employee Number, click Accept, click Process in the menu
