Cannot find deduction code in the Benefit Master

Description of Issue
  • User cannot locate a specific deduction code within the Benefit Master
Context
  • Munis
  • Benefits Administration
  • Deduction and Benefit Master setup
Cause
  • Deduction code is not flagged as 'Benefit' in the Deduction and Benefit Master
Resolution
  1. Navigate to Deduction and Benefit Master
    • Menu → Human Capital Management → Payroll → Payroll Setup → Deduction and Benefit Master
  2. Use the Search and find the deduction code in question
  3. Click Update and ensure the flag for Benefit is checked
    • Checked will cause this deduction code to appear in the Benefits module
    • Unchecked will cause this deduction to not appear in the Benefits module
  4. Click Accept to save your update
Additional Information
  • Only deductions flagged as benefits will display in the Benefit Master
