Convert Overtime Into Comptime Box Not Appearing For User

Description of Issue

We have an employee who is Overtime eligible. He does not have the option to convert his Overtime hours to Comptime and wishes to do so. What change to his set up is needed to accomplish this?

Context

  • Overtime Policy 

  • Comptime Policy 

  • Timecard

Cause

The pay code in question was not marked to count towards time worked. Once we made this change we went back to the timecard and noticed that the comp time box then became available

Resolution

To set the Pay code to Time Worked follow the steps below: 

  1. Select System Admin

  2. Select Master File Management

  3. Select Pay Codes

  4. Select the pencil for the pay code in question 

  5. Select the drop down next to Counts towards Overtime

  6. Select Time Worked

  7. Select Save
