Personnel Actions cannot be updated as part of workflow
Workflow has been set up so an action that gets submitted can be updated by the approver in workflow but the buttons to Add, Update or Delete are not available

The role for the user does not have sufficient permissions to add/update/delete personnel actions that have been submitted via workflow
System Administration > Security > Roles > click search to locate the role created for the users that will be part of workflow
Module View > HR / Payroll section > HR Management / Payroll folder > General tab
Allow personnel actions to be deleted at or below statusÂ
Select Pending Any Approval from list of available options in the drop down list
Allow personnel actions to be updated at or below status
Select Pending Any Approval from list of available options in the drop down list
Allow Personnel Actions to Be Deleted at or Below Status | Controls the level of access users assigned to the role have to deleting personnel actions: * None—Users cannot delete personnel actions at any status level.
