TCM how to remove Elastic Search

Description of Issue

Site no longer uses Elastic Search or needs to be removed for troubleshooting purposes.

Context

  • Tyler Content Manager (TCM)

  • SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)

Cause

  • Elastic Search not installed properly which causes errors on rebuilding TCM index/Full Text rebuild with error message Failed to run prechecks. Failed to drop index. java.net ConnectionException

  • Client no longer requires Elastic Search

Resolution

Elastic Search requires to be removed from backend configuration.
