Restrict POs to current year when next year exists

How to restrict user's requisitions to current year after next year has been created

Financials > General Ledger Menu > Set Up/Chart of Accounts > General Ledger Settings

• Take note of your default year/period

System Administration > Security > Roles

1. Search for the applicable role

2. Navigate to the General Ledger folder

3. Click Update

4. Set Allow Transactions in Periods Beyond the Default to a value such that the user cannot exceed period 12
   

   1. i.e., a default year/period of 02/2022 will require a value of 10 in Allow Transactions in Periods Beyond the Default to restrict to 2022

Requisitions cannot be restricted to current year, only next year.
