Description of Issue

Client wants to use the file import in Mass Add Service



Context

Cause

Needs to know how to Format CSV file to be imported



Resolution

The Mass Add Services program has the option of importing through a CSV File.

  • The format for the CSV file is Account,CID,Bill Code.

  • The first row being the header line populated with the words Account,CID,Bill Code.

  • The Account and CID need to populated, the Bill Code only needs to be populated if the import file contains accounts with different bill codes (cycles) otherwise 
    the Bill code can be left blank in the file and the process will use the bill cycle code populated in the define of the Mass Add Services program.

  • The Start and stop dates in the Mass Add Services program must match the Start/Stop dates for the account/CID you are importing. Otherwise it will error.
