Position Control Browse does not show Employees

Description of Issue
  • I am trying to pull a report from position control that has the position number, position description, number of employees, and employee name/number. I previously could do this by doing a search for the positions, then hitting browse. Once the browse screen populated, I could hit the Excel button in the ribbon to have it populate with the employee's name next to the position.
Context
  • Munis
  • Human Capital Management (HCM)
  • Position Control
  • Munis version 2019.1+
Cause
  • Employee ID, Employee Name, and Number of Employees have been removed from the default browse to improve performance
Resolution
  1. To enable Position Control to show the employees you will need to navigate to the program Personnel Settings
    • Menu → Human Capital Management → Human Resources → Personnel Setup → Personnel Settings
  2. Click the tab Position Control
  3. Review for the option Auto Build Employee Counts
    • When enabled, Position Control will automatically populate the employee information in the Position Control browse
