Role setup for access to Employee Evaluation only



Description of Issue

How do we setup a role for a user to only access Employee Evaluations?

Context

  • Permissions
Cause
User should only have access to Employee Evaluations.
Resolution
  1. Navigate to the program Roles in the System Administration menu.
  2. Click Add and create a role.
  3. In the Payroll/HR menu, be sure to enable the following:
    1. Menu Security access to the program Employee Evaluation.
      • Menu > Human Capital Management > Talent Management > Evaluations > Employee Evaluations
    2. Data Access to the appropriate range(s) of Location code.
    3. Category Access (Update/Delete, Inquiry, Hide SSN, etc.) for the Employee Master column for the category Employee Evaluation.
  4. Click Accept to save these changes.
  5. Add the Role to the user in the User Attributes program.
