Restricting supervisor access to employee W-2 in ESS

We received notice from HR staff that some managers are capable of viewing their staff's W-2's in ESS

• Employee Self Service (ESS)

• Administration

• Employee Administration

Restrict Supervisor Views is not flagged in ESS Application Administration

1. Navigate to ESS Application Administration

   1. ESS Home > Administration > Employee Administration > Application Administration

2. Check the box labeled Restrict Supervisor Views

3. Click Update at the bottom to save changes

4. Have the supervisor log out and back into ESS to review the update

• In order to make these changes the user will need to have administrative access in ESS
