Change an employee name on a W-2

I am getting an error when submit W-2 file through Accuwage.  An employee had invalid character in the name.  In this case the employee has parentheses in the name.  I have changed Employee Master.  How can I change the W-2?

• W-2 and 1099-R Processing

• Employee W2

• W-2 electronic file

Invalid name entered in Employee Master

Update the name in the Employee W-2 and 1099-R screen.

1. Open the Employee W-2 and 1099-R screen (Human Capital Management > Payroll > W-2 and 1099-R Processing > Employee W-2 and 1099-R)

2. Click on W-2

3. Search for the employee

4. Click Update

5. Correct the employee's name

6. Click Accept

Can also correct the name from the Adjust step of the W-2 Wizard

Once corrected, a new W-2 form may be printed, and a new file created
