Unable to delete journal entries in 2019.1 and above - user does not have permission to Delete Journal Entries

End user has permissions to update own and update others' journal entries, but they cannot delete journal entries. 

• 2019.1 and above

• User Attributes

End user does not have the General Ledger permission "Delete Journal Entries".

To grant a user permission to delete journals entries:

Munis > Financials > System Administration > Security > User Attributes

1. Click Search and enter user information

2. Accept

3. Click on the GL Role that you would like to update, and then click Edit Role (affects all users tied to role)

4. Click on the yellow folder for General Ledger module

5. Click Update and check the permission for "Delete journal entries" and hit Accept

6. Click Return and back out of User Attributes.

Have user reopen journal in entry program to delete
