Benefit Time Failed To Replace Published Regular Hours



Description of Issue

An employee's vacation time was approved but failed to replaced their published regular hours.

Cause

The option to Split shifts for overlapping requests was not checked on the benefit pay code.



Resolution

To ensure the benefit hours replace or split the regular published hours:

  1. Select System Admin

  2. Select Master File Management

  3. Select Pay Codes

  4. Select the pencil for pay code in question

  5. Under Additional Settings, check the box for Split shifts for overlapping requests   

  6. Select Save
