Virginia Town Tax Export selecting no records

When attempting to run Town Tax Export for Real Estate or Personal Property, no records are selected

• VA Property Tax Billing

• Town Tax Export

City Codes have not been setup

The Town Tax Export requires City Codes to be setup as a prerequisite for data to select and export:

1. Navigate to Property Revenues > Property Tax Billing > South > Virginia > Setup > City Codes

2. Click Add

3. Enter a City Code and City Name

   • The City Code is the City's charge code that currently exists on the parcels.

4. Click Accept when finished

When a charge code is setup under the city codes program, it will appear on the charges screen of the parcel but will now show up on the real estate book or the bill unless the option Include on county scroll/bills is selected.
