Setting up SFTP Transfers

How to set up Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) file transfers and schedule transfers as a task.

SFTP transfers are often used for supporting file imports and exports for bank transfers or integrating products with Munis.

Scheduled Tasks must be set up on one of the Schedule servers by TSM Saas Support. Please reach out with as much detail as possible to support the technician in setting up the task. TSM OnPrem does not provide support for SFTP file transfers. Tyler does not support creating a direct SFTP transfer to from Tyler to financial institutions (bank institutions) such as EFT and BAI files as that is handled between the client and the their financial institution. 

Special characters with the exception of _ , % and . should be avoided in the password as the command line utility will not correctly pass some of them and login may fail.
