DTDF not zeroing out account amounts

Description of Issue

Due To Due From is not zeroing out Account amounts on an example account when site thinks it should



Context

  • Due To/Due From (DTDF)

  • General Journal Entry/Proof (GEN, GCR, GNI)

  • Accounting Entries



Cause

  • DTDF only balances out individual funds out of balance when in an overall balanced debit and credit journal

  • DTDF does not zero out accounts by design it only enters balancing debit and credit entries for listed funds that match defined DTDF records



Resolution

If a manually entered balance sheet account is also the triggered funds DTDF record the two lines could balance to zero

DTDF are always balance sheets
