Project Codes are not importing into Time Entry



Description of Issue

When processing a Time Entry Import most employees are importing in the correct GL account but the Project Code is missing. 



Context
  • Payroll

  • Payroll Start and Status

  • Time Entry 

  • Custom Templates



Cause

The column for the Project Code was defined as Project Account (instead of Project Code) on the Time Entry Import Template/



Resolution
  1. Go into Time Entry (Payroll>Payroll Processing>Time Entry Processing>Time Entry)

  2. Click Import in the toolbar. 

  3. Click Custom Templates

  4. Select View on the correct Template. 

  5. Click Continue on the pop up box. 

  6. Change the column populated with Project Account to Project Code

  7. Click Save. Click Back

  8. This will correct the Template and imports going forward.
