Motor vehicle abatements improperly calculating minimum bill amount

Abatement Entry pops up a warning message for Cat 30 MV bills when a bill would be abated below the minimum bill amount which asks Abate under minimum or Abate to minimum. When choosing Abate to minimum, under certain conditions, the resulting bill can be above the minimum bill amount and under-abated.

Tax development is currently researching the issue in MUN-437382. As a workaround, the abatement amounts can be manually maintained.

Fully abated bills do not appear to be negatively impacted by this potential defect. They appear to be properly abated to the minimum bill amount. This issue seems to only affect scenarios where the billed amount, less the abatement, would otherwise leave the bill with a small balance less than the minimum bill amount.
