Description of Issue

We are entering time in ET for a parallel. We have all employees entered for the time period XX/XX/XX - XX/XX/XX. We want to view the export before bringing to Munis, yet the preview file is blank.

Cause

The Move To Payroll had already been ran for the pay period dates provided



Resolution

Verify the time is in Payroll Functions > Time Balancing to review pay period

  1. Drill down to the employees timecards using the magnify glass

  2. Hover over the tooltip next to any of the transactions listed - the status shows adjusted or processed 

  3. This indicates the transactions have already been processed to payroll and at that time the Update time entry status on export flag under System Admin > UI Environment Flags > Time Processing menu was enabled at the time of the export

To adjust the pay period so that these transactions can be sent, you would have to do a revert. You ca create a filter for just one employee that has hours in this pay period to set these steps before reverting everyone.

  1.  Payroll Functions > Payroll Revert > Select filtered employee or leave filter deselected (optional) > History > select desired pay period XX/XX - XX/XX > Revert Payroll

  2. Once the revert has been completed you can rerun the Export Preview for the desired Pay Period
