How to cancel a print job

Description of Issue

  • Accidentally printed a large job

  • Need to stop print job without allowing all queued documents to print

  • Need to clear printer queue

  • Need to stop forms printing

Cause

  • Accidentally printed a job.

  • Printer in error

Resolution

SaaS clients: Please contact Tyler Systems Management SaaS support for assistance.

On Prem:

  1. Navigate to the server where forms are installed - this is usually the TCM server

  2. Click Start 

  3. Type Print Man

  4. Select Print Management from the results list

  5. Locate the printer whose queue needs to be cleared

    1. Right-click on the printer and click Pause Printing

    2. Wait until documents stop being added to the print queue

  6. Right-click on the printer and click Cancel All Documents

  7. Right-click on the printer and click Resume Printing
