Create dynamic emails with Enterprise Forms

Needing emails with variable data, such as names or dates

Cause




Resolution
  1.  Go to Delivery Definitions, by navigating to System Administration>Printer/Device Administration>ReadyForms>Delivery Definitions

  2. Browse or search for the delivery definition needing to be updated 

  3. From the list of steps, select the step is responsible for emailing the form 

  4. Hit Update, then select the Email Tokens button next to the step's options

  5. Find the variable you are looking to use in your email, and make note of how it's called

    1. for example: [*FIRST_NAME*]  

  6. Scroll down to the email subject and body settings, and add the variable to your email template 

  7. Select Accept at the top of the screen to save these settings
