  • How to export a journal

  • User wants to export a journal from a non-live environment to import in Live or export a journal due to a journal reversal issue.

Resolution

A journal must be posted before exporting in Export Journals.

General Ledger Menu > Journal Entry / History > Export Journals

  1. Click Define

  2. Fill out the Export Options, selecting Compatible with MUNIS GL and Omit automatically-generated lines

  3. Accept

  4. Click Select

  5. Enter Year, Period, Journal number, Source journal, etc. (information to pull the journal that is needed)

  6. Accept

  7. Click Journal Export

  8. Pick fields to export

  9. Accept
