Impersonate or mimic another employee in ESS

Description of Issue
  • How can I see what my employees see when logged into ESS? 
  • Is there a way to login as a different employee in ESS for testing?
Context

  • Employee Self Service (ESS)
  • User Administration 
Cause
  • User needs to login as a different employee to view their account/visible information
Resolution
  1. Access ESS > Administration > User Administration
  2. Use the Add User feature to add a temporary test account
  3. Make sure the Employee Settings are filled correctly, including the appropriate employee number 
  4. Login as the test user
  5. Make sure to Delete the test user when you have concluded your testing
