Ability to add and update Preventive Maintenance on an Asset

What gives the user ability to add and update Preventive Maintenance on Asset? 

EAM

1. Open User Attributes (Munis>System Administration>Security>User Attributes)
2. Click Search
3. Type in the UserID
4. Click Accept
5. Click on the Role that you want to change
6. Click Edit Role
7. Program will open a Roles screen
8. Click the folder labeled Assets
9. Click Update

The following are recommendations that will allow this user to add and/or update assets with preventive maintenance assigned to it. Any further restrictions that may need to be made in order to limit the assets that the user can and cannot update would need to be determined by the site.

• Flag the following Asset Permissions:
  • Update assets
  • PM maintenance
• Data Access set to at least LIMITED for the following:
  • View assets by dept, type, and/or category
  • Maintain assets by dept, type, and/or category
