Description of Issue

How can I update the tag number on an asset?

Context

Capital Assets

Cause

Tag number is missing or was keyed in incorrectly

Resolution

New Assets:

  1. In New Assets pull up the asset you are looking to update 
  2. Select Update
  3. Change the Tag Number 
  4. Click Accept 

Active Assets:

  1. In Adjustments and Retirements pull up the asset you are looking to update
  2. Select Update
  3. Change the Tag Number 
  4. Click Accept
