WA Retirement Report - Comp Time Cash Out
WA Retirement Report - Comp Time Cash Out
Description of Issue
Comp time cash outs must be reported back to the period in which the comp time was earned, how can we set this up in the report?
Context
- Payroll
- Washington
- WA Retirement Report
Cause
If emp receives cash out of compensatory time in excess of the maximum allowed bankable hours, those hours need to be reported to DRS on a first in first out basis. The hours need to be the oldest accrued hours in the time bank and they need to be reported back in the months earned.
Resolution
WA Retirement Report unable to reliably automate this requirement. Period Records in this scenario would need to be manually maintained.
Additional Information
Period Record Export/Import functionality being added to WA Retirement Report program to make maintenance less cumbersome. Reference (master) work ticket MUN-406770.
