Supervisor cannot approve employee timesheet - Approve button is greyed out

Supervisor reports that when they go to approve the employee's timesheet the approve button is greyed out. The employee also cannot approve & submit timecard

• Workflow

• Time & Attendance

• Time approvals

The issue was the supervisor was missing the location for the employee's in their Workflow Criteria. This was determined by hovering the mouse button over the Approve & Submit button and it giving the error Approve & Submit time card is disabled. Workflow Approver must be assigned to proceed.

The supervisor that approves the employee was missing the location the employee was in.

Update the criteria to assign the supervisor to the employee, allowing both employee and approver to complete the approval process

1. Login to Time & Attendance

2. Click System Admin 

3. Click Workflow Management

4. Click Primary Approver icon

5. Click the Criteria Icon for the approver in question

6. Click the Plus Icon and add the correct location

7. Validate the approve button is no longer greyed out.
