Attendance Check in shows Clocked in on Status

Description of Issue

Client reports that when the Salaried Employees click the Attendance Check in button the status shows clocked in

Cause

The reason the status shows Clocked in is due to the availability status on the pay code settings

Resolution

You can check the Availability Status setting by following these steps

  1. Login to Time & Attendance with Admin role

  2. Click System Admin

  3. Click Master File Management

  4. Click Pay Code

  5. Click the Pencil icon for the Pay code

  6. Scroll down to Availability Status and note the status setting. The availability status can be set to No Status Changed, Clocked in, Clocked out, Time-off and Unknown. 

At this time there is no Checked in setting. Please note status does not equal pay code type it is just a status for the employee to acknowledge their check in or clock in has been recorded.
