Description of Issue

Attempting to uninstall the Octopus Tentacle on a server that already had the tentacle deployed on it can lead to complications if not done correctly

Context

  • Tyler Deploy

  • Octopus Tentacle

Cause

  • Uninstalling the Tyler Deploy Octopus Tentacle without the API Key from Tyler Deploy will result in an incomplete uninstall

  • Installation of the Tyler Deploy Octopus Tentacle will not be completed without a valid API Key generated from Tyler Deploy

  • API Keys can only be generated by Tyler Staff
