Description of Issue

Receiving an error when attempting to sign in or turn on wifi mode in CollectIt:

  • Please check your api configuration APIUserName/APIPassword/APIUrl is incorrect

Error found in BMI log:

  • APIHelper :: inwsscan_getMunisUserId : Request XML = <UserName>XXXX</UserName> ,Response XML = , Exception = Could not establish trust relationship for the SSL/TLS secure channel with authority

Cause
Self signed certificates need to be updated
Resolution
  1. Export the self signed certificate and add it into Personal and Trusted Root Store on the work station
