Attachments are converting from PDF to TIFF

Description of Issue

TCM attachments are downloading as .tiff files instead of .pdf.

Forms downloading at TIFF instead of PDF.

Cause

There are settings within the Content Manager Full Client to designate the Forms file type conversion from PDF to TIFF.

Resolution
  1. Open the TCM full client and log into the application as admin (TCM)
    1. How to Access and Launch the TCM Full Client
  2. Click Admin
  3. Select System Setup
  4. Expand IDoc Documents using the arrow to open the menu
  5. Select Imaging
  6. Uncheck the box titled Enable Conversion From PDF Documents to TIFF Images
  7. Click Apply
  8. Click OK
Additional Information

This same setting can also cause an issue where Tyler Forms PDF in TCM are black and white not color
