Description of Issue

Unable to resubmit a pending transaction in Cashiering due to an error.

The year and period for the date XX/XX/XXXX do not exist in Journal Number Control.

Context
  • Tyler Cashiering
  • Munis
Cause

Journal Number Control record has not been set up for the the new fiscal year. 

Resolution
  1. Add a Journal Number Control record for the year the transaction should be posted to: How to set up Journal Number Control (You may need a user with General Ledger or System Admin access to add the missing record)
  2. Restart Cashiering 
  3. Right click + Resubmit pending transaction
