How to view and download product release notes from Tyler Deploy

A client/user is asking how to view product release notes or what will change to their database/code as part of an upgrade or update through Tyler Deploy.

Resolution
  1. Browse to https://tylerdeploy.com

  2. Sign in is not required

    1. If you have Tyler Deploy access, sign in with your Tyler Community account if desired.

  3. From the left side menu, click Release Notes

    1. If the left side menu is not open, click the hamburger menu icon in the top left corner of the page.

  4. Notes tab. Select a product, a release, and optionally an end release to see what's changed.

    1. In Product drop down, choose desired product

      1. Ex: munis erp

    2. In Release field, choose desired starting release

      1. Ex: 2021.10.0.0

    3. Optional: In End Release field, choose desired end release

      1. Ex: 2021.12.0.3

    4. To save a local copy, click Download CSV

    5. If viewing release notes for a specific start release and end release:

      1. Click specific release lines to expand and view specific code changes

      2. Click Expand All to expand and view specific code changes for all releases shown

  5. Issues tab. Find which product releases contain reference to an issue number.

    1. In the Issue number field, enter work ticket number

      1. Ex: MUN-452989

      2. Ex: CSH-13646

    2. Click Search or hit ENTER

Additional Information
  • The release notes will only show Bug Fixes, Patches, Performance Enhancements, Mandatory Enhancements, Professional Services, etc.

  • This will not indicate UI changes , URL changes, or Server hosting/Target changes.

  • For changes from current product version to their project new version, that specific list of release notes can be found on the Deployment page of that specific product (requires login).
