Employee Years of Service Update Years updating Inactive Employees



Description of Issue

When running the Update Years process, employees marked as Inactive are being updated for Employee Years of Service.

Cause

User did not do a search for Active employees before clicking Update Years. 



Resolution
  1. Navigate to Payroll>Employee History>Employee Years of Service.

  2. Click Search.

  3. Choose Active from dropdown menu.

  4. Click Accept. 

  5. Click Update Years.

  6. Click Define and populate as necessary.

  7. Click Accept. Confirm that only Active employees are on proof. 



Additional Information

Update Years works on the find set. If no search has been performed before defining the Update Years process, the system will look to update everyone.
