Add a New Parcel

Description of Issue

A parcel needs to be manually added. 

Context
  • Property Tax Billing 
  • Parcels (txremast)
Cause

The parcel has never been added before and was not included with the CAMA import. 

Resolution
  1. Navigate to the Parcels program either by searching or using the following path: Property Revenues > Property Tax Billing > Region > State > Assessor Processing and Reports > Parcels 
  2. Click Add. 
  3. Enter the Parcel ID in the Parcel field. (Note: TAB to the next field after each data entry in each step.)
  4. Enter the Alt parcel ID in the Alt parcel field if desired. 
  5. Enter the customer number of the owner in the Owner field. (Note: If a new customer needs to be added, please follow the steps outlined here: Add a New Customer) 
  6. Enter the DBA in the DBA field if desired. 
  7. Choose the Town/Precinct of the parcel from the dropdown if desired. 
  8. Enter the Sale price in the Sale price field if desired. 
  9. Enter all desired fields for the Location number, Location suffix, Location street, Location unit, Deed recorded date, Book/Page, Deed type, and # Units. (Note: Full field descriptions are available at anytime by clicking the question mark icon in the right corner and then clicking Help). 
  10. Choose the Jurisdiction and Class by making the appropriate selection from each dropdown menu.
  11. Choose the Subdiv, Zone, and Own nature if desired by making the appropriate selection from each dropdown menu. 
  12. Enter all desired fields including Assessed on date, Assessed by, Last Reviewed date, Lender, Lender acct, Service co, etc. using the field descriptions for reference. 
  13. When all fields are filled out, TAB through to the end or click Accept to save the record as entered.
