Daily Overtime Carrying over to next days pay

Daily Overtime Carrying over to next days pay

Description of Issue

Daily Overtime Carrying over to next day's pay

Context

Time and Attendance

Overtime Policies

TSA Policies

Cause

Daily overtime policy is carrying over to the next day on a continuous entry.

TSA Policies have been set up to default time to the previous day.

This is caused by the TSA Policy rolling back continuous time to the previous day, and applying the previous day's overtime policy to this time.

Resolution

To resolve you need to remove the TSA Policy check box from the Pay Code.

  1. Navigate to System Admin Master File Management > Pay Codes.

  2. Find the Overtime Pay Code and select Edit (Pencil Icon)

  3. Scroll to find the Allow TSA Rollback option and uncheck the check box.

This will not allow this Overtime Pay code to be affected by TSA Policies.
