Cashiering U.I.Web URL not working in Hardware Console

When installing the Cashiering Hardware Console, after entering in the UI.Web URL, you receive the message:

Unable to successfully access the Cashiering UI.Web URL. Please verify the URL

• Cashiering

• Hardware Console Setup

• Hardware Console Install

The URL validation feature is not able to verify the URL

1. Removing any trailing slashes

   1. Ex: https://tylertown.com/test/cashiering.ui.web

2. Enter the URL in a browser on the workstation

   1. If the URL is not accessible, verify the URL is correct

      1. How to find the URL for Cashiering

   2. If the URL is correct and inaccessible, contact your site admin

   3. If the URL is correct and accessible, proceed to step 2

3. Return to the Hardware Console Setup

4. Check off Skip URL Validation

5. Click Next and continue with the install 

Sometimes even with the correct URL, the installer gives the error above. You still need to enter in the URL so the Hardware Console can check for updates.
