Change Boat Excise Abatement Calculation Method

The abatement calculation method for boat excise needs to be changed from action date to number of months or vice versa. 

• Property Tax Billing 

• Boat Excise 

• Boat Excise Settings (beparmnt) 

Calculation method needs to be changed to better suit processing. 

1. Navigate to the Boat Excise Settings program either by searching or using the following path: Property Revenues > Property Tax Billing > Region > State > Boat Excise > Setup > Boat Excise Settings

2. Click Update. 

3. At the bottom of the screen where it says Abatement calculation method choose either Action date or Number of months depending on what is needed.
