Valic Export errors

When creating the Valic Export file, the error Error Selecting pay group and provider is appearing

• Payroll

• HRM

• Deduction Report

• Valic Export

The report is not able to find a pay group or provider for the employee's deduction record 

• Pay Group - pulls from the employee deduction insurance plan field

• Provider - pulls from the employee deduction insurance carrier field

To resolve this issue first verify that the needed codes are on the employee's deduction record, then try the file create again

1. Navigate to Payroll > Employee Maintenance > Employee Deductions

2. Search for the Valic deduction on employee's who had the error

3. Update the Valic deduction records to have an Insurance Plan and Insurance Carrier

4. Return to the Valic export by navigating to Payroll > Payroll Processing > Payroll Start and Status > Deduction Report > Valic Export

5. Define and run the report
