Cannot Pay Utility Billing Application Fee in Tyler Cashiering

Description of Issue

When trying to process a UB App Fee (Utility Billing Application Fee) within Tyler Cashiering the option to pay is not available. All of the necessary Charge Codes and Settings have been correctly configured within Munis, along with enabling the UB App Fee payment option in Tyler Cashiering.

Cause

The Tyler Cashiering Payment Type does not allow for  zero balance items.

Resolution
  1. In Tyler Cashiering go to Setup Payment TypeUtility Billing App Fee
  2. Under the Processing tab, Check the Allow Zero Balance Items checkbox.
  3. Click Save.
