Can 1099-Rs be run prior to running W-2s?

Does it matter what order 1099-Rs and W-2s are run in?

• Payroll
• Employee 1099-R
• W-2 and 1099-R Register 

Client concerned they might run these in the wrong order and cause an issue.

The W-2 & 1099-R can be run in any order
