Configure SMTP in SSRS for email delivery

After obtaining the SMTP servername and credentials, follow the steps below to configure SSRS for email subscriptions:

1. Remote to the server where SSRS is hosted. 
2. Launch Reporting Services Configuration Manager
   1. In the Report Server Instance drop down select the correct environment.
   2. Press Connect
   3. On left side of the window select E-Mail Settings
   4. On the SMTP Settings enter in the correct SMTP configuration
      1. Sender Address (From address)
      2. SMTP Server 
      3. Select correct Authentication
         1. If authentication type is "Username and password (Basic)" you will also need to enter in those account credentials
   5. Select Apply then Exit
3. Confirm from SSRS that you are now able to send SSRS Subscription Reports that are setup to email the report

SaaS hosted clients do not have access to their servers and should contact Enterprise ERP Reporting Services Support team for further assistance.
