Creating the AL New Hire Report



Description of Issue

Submission file was not including all records from AL New Hire Report

Cause

Period Records were exported to a text file. 

Resolution

Use the following steps to create a properly formatted submission file:

  1. Navigate to Human Resources/Payroll > Payroll > State Specific > South > Alabama > AL New Hire Report
  2. Select Generate from the Menu Ribbon
  3. Select Define from the Menu Ribbon and enter the reporting dates
  4. Select Accept and Generate
    1. You can choose to view the period records at this point
  5. Select Return from the Menu Ribbon (if you chose to view the period records you will need to click Return twice)
  6. Select Define on the Menu Ribbon to enter reporting dates to be included on the submission file.
  7. Click Accept and choose your output option (text, PDF, Display)

This will generate a proof report and create the submission file that will be saved to the spool directory.
